Korup National Park
Known to be Africa’s oldest and richest forest in terms of Flora and Faunal diversity, the Korup National Park stretches to over 1260km and is home to more than 100 species of mammals, 435 bird species, 170 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 140 kinds of fish.
Several species of primates such as chimpanzee, red capped mangabey, red-eared monkey, red colobus monkey, baboons, and the endangered drill among others call Korup home too.
Other mammals in the park include leopards, duikers, buffalos and elephants, the drill monkey, Preuss’s red colobus, red-eared guenon and Nigeria chimpanzee) can also be found here, its really the stuff of dreams for many explorers.
The rainforest mystique and diversity are one of the greatest highlights of Korup National Park.

Limbe
Also known as Victoria, this seaside gem is located on a bay on the Altantic West Coast and boasts a number of of popular black sand beaches.
The Limbe wildlife center, with a variety of wildlife such as gorillas, monkeys, snakes etc. The Botanic Garden, a sumptuous garden created in 1892 by German horticultures during the German colonial era, with the primary aim of planting medicinal plants in this garden. In 1988, the English brought in more help to this masterpiece which is today the largest botanic garden in tropical Africa. A tour of the garden will be a nice occasion to enable you admire the beautiful landscape as well as medicinal plants. They also exist attractive tourist sites along the coastal trail, biodiversity trail, Bota lava flow overlook trail and Biological gateway trail. Jungle village is an area in the garden where traditional wrestling is organized, to showcase Cameroon’s rich cultural heritage.

Foumban Palace
The historic Bamoun Royal Palace hosts a museum packed with unique antiquities; royal gowns, arms, musical instruments, statues, jewellery, masks and colourful bead-covered thrones carved in the shape of the men who sat on them.
Built in 1917 by the 17th King Ibrahim Njoya, this medieval looking chateau is the official residence of the Sultan. Visit Foumban for a chance to meet the present Sultan, king Nabil Mbombo Njoya the 20th Monarch of the Bamoun Kingdom.
Just south is the Musée des Arts et des Traditions Bamoun, a place of stunning architecture with an extensive collection of Bamoun history and art, including cooking implements, musical instruments, pipes, statues, masks, gongs etc
